Data Privacy

The trade-off between privacy and security (and sometimes functionality)

How do we use your data?

TL:DR We use your data strictly internally. No third-party ads, nor email shares. We keep everything private between you and us.

For security reasons, we (as all secure websites) use a CSRF cookie in order to authenticate request coming from your device. This makes sure that, when you subscribe or register, or when you buy something from our gift shop, it is well you and not someone else pretending to be you.

Spam Protection

When you subscribe or register, we collect IP addresses that we use for anti-spam protection. Nowadays, a twelve years old with a tiny bit of knowledge in programming can easily perform a DoS (Denial of Service) attack on any website. Collecting IP addresses allows us to prevent such an attack by limiting the number of queries to our website.

Antscool Communication

We tend to communicate mainly via our social networks, limitting, at the same time, the number of emails we send to people. We guess most people would agree on the following: "less emails is better".
